This was a great day with blue skies. We took lots of pictures.
We visited the Church St. Market; rode the London Eye; toured the Houses of Parliament; Had fish and chips at the Round Table pub.
and saw "The Mousetrap" at St. Martin's Theater.

After gettng the administrative stuff done (theater tickets for evening, Oyster Pass etc) We headed over to the London Eye in the afternoon.
On the way we encountered this really neat Carousel
The was a hugh queue (good weather, weekend) We purchased fast track tickets.
The view from inside as we started to climb.
The cabins rotate inside the two rings so that you remain horizontal.
Here is a good look at the Eye. I took this picture so that Mary could count the cabins.
We are just getting started. The cabin was roomy.
Here I am with my much traveled red rain gear.
Here we are almost at the top!
The view at the top looking north. The Northumberland Avenue Bridge.
Looking southwest; the Westminister Bridge, Westminister and Big Ben; The Houses of Parliament
Here is a better view of everything we were looking at.
Next we walked over the Westminister Bridge and around Big Ben till we achieved this great view!
We were in time to take a tour of the Houses of Parliament
Next we had dinner and headed off to the theater.
