Today we went to Kew Gardens. To get there we rode the train
We arrived after noon.
We signed up for a tour
We were just barely able to ride the Explorer which took us around the grounds
Dinner was at the Bistro #1
Theater was "The Master Class" with Tyne Daly who I remembered from the TV series Cagney and Lacy which ended in 1988.

This is the distinctive view of the gardens from the entrance. It is a large green house with a 2nd story walkway.
After lunch we just walked around for a while. The gardens are situated on the bank of the Thames 10 miles West of London.
The statue in the pond as we got closer.
Most of the trees were still waiting for spring. We were lucky to have such a bright day!
The large green house is named "The Palm House". Here is Mary on the walkway.
There were lots of very colorful plants in the Palm House.
When I asked an attendant if this was real, I was told that it was a recreation. I don't know even now how much was fake.
We caught the last tram ride and had a chance to glance at some of the grounds otherwise beyond reach on our short visit.
There was this very nice pagoda.
The show was really very good. A one woman monologue very well done!
