The ship tied up in Cadiz and we took a walking tour of the city.
This monument was erected in honor of the Spanish Constitution.
The King didn't really like it. (lost all his perks) So the people left the throne empty.
One of the unusual things to see was the Camera Obscura. It sits at the top of a high tower
and you can see all the city laid out below.
Here we are on the roof of the tower with the Camera Obscura.
Here is a Panamara view from the roof
Cadiz is the birth place of one of my favorite composers, Manuel De Falla
That evening we went to a flaminco show and they also this very elegant horse.
The horse was very talented and pranced with the flaminco dancers!
I took this video of the show!
Next day we toured Sevilla. It has great buildings! See the Church tower on the right.
We climbed to the top of the tower and took this four pictures of the city below!
Later we wondered by this fun childrens park!
The next day we took a bus to Cordoba. Here is Mary by one of the reflecting pools there.
Mary was intrigued with the Historical Philosopher Moses Maimonides. We found this statue of him. She is investigating.
Some of the old unrestored parts of Grenada are overrun by peahens. Never saw a peacock.
We stayed in a hotel which was above most of the City. Here is the view from the hill.
The next day we toured the Alhambra something Mary has waited all her life to do.
We found fantastic reflecting pools!
This is the view from inside the throne room.
The ceiling of the throne room.
The arches around the courtyards are mind boggling!
Outside the Alhambra the beautiful gardens continue!
looking down on the city below.
Grenada means Pomagranit. There were many of the trees around us.
