Our visit to Morocco was centered on meeting Mouna, Marys foreign exchange student of thirty years ago!
Mouna, her mother and Mary
Mouna's Husband, Kamal and the Main course "Couscous", a traditional Moroccan dish
We visited Volubilis, a Roman ruin with some very interesting standing columns
Mary waving from the ruins
Arc of Triumph
The inlaid tile although totally exposed was in very good shape for being centuries old
More inlaid tile
We explored for several hours
The house of the acrobat
We returned from our visit with Mouna, who lives in Rabat, by train
The next day we visited the Hassan II Mosque. It boasts the world's highest minaret
Inside it is very lovely
As you can see
That evening we ate at one of the world's renouned restaurants
Shades of "Casablanca", Bogart and Bergman
Sam was not working the piano the night we dropped by
