The next day we flew to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and were bussed to the Mekong River.
We boarded this spiffy river boat.
It was flying the Cambodian flag.
We sailed by this Pagoda.
We sailed by the other group we were with.
And by this very interesting boat. Each boat has two eyes in front.

Later we visited an Orphanage that Semester At Sea has been supporting. I met this young man. His name is Chantha.

The next day we toured the royal palace.

In the garden we found this tree with a strange and beautiful parisite growing on it. They are called "cannon balls".
The next pictures are beyond shocking. This is real and you need to see it.
It looks kind of elegant until you get close.
Later in the day we caught this puddle hopper and headed to Siem Reap
