When you see this World Famous TV Tower out your cabin port, you are in Shanghai Harbor close to the Bund.
As soon as we were given clearance we were looking at the Tower and "The Bottle Opener" building from a bus.
It was a dark day but the rain held back as we started our city, museum, and temple tour.
This is a typical Buddhist temple style (Yu Gardens).
They love Carp. They are sometimes called Koi.

Shanghai was rather cold. This is the first time I wore a hat.
I don't recall the nickname of this building but it certainly grabs your attention.

I spent an hour impressed by the bronze collection at the Shanghai Muesum. This is a food container with an inlaid hunting scene. 473 BCE!
Just about everything was labeled as a wine container. Aren't they great!
Imagine watching the news with this cup filled with Burgundy Wine!
This comes from the 13th to the 11th century BCE. It's COOL!

I am always impressed by a woman who can balance a couple of dozen wine glasses on her nose.
Next day we visited the Urban Planning Museum. This is the official Mascot.
There they had replicas of some of the more outstanding buildings.
They have a model of their city showing planned growth. It is really impressive and covers the entire floor off this very large room.
Our last trip off the ship we rode through the Bund Tourist Tunnel (That's what they call it) under the river to go buy wine.
