Of course we stopped at all lighthouses. This is Point Montara Light station and youth hostel (43K)

At Corvallis we visited an Old Friend "Boots" Pierce (54K)
It's always fun visiting Boots. Here we discover the neighbor's chicken has laid a clutch of eggs in the backyard! (54K)

Heading south we had a real home cooked breakfast at the Tamrick Inn, Beaverdell BC (48K)
Lunch at the Kettle River Recreation Area (49K)
and finally dinner with relatives Donna and Bob Macpherson (49K)
Bob and Donna gave us the grand tour of Colville in this vintage 60s Cadillac! (49K)
Heading home we spent a really cold night at Chickahominy Reservior BLM Campground. (50K)
Running ahead of the weather we found time to visit Mono Lake. (52K)
These interesting formations are called Tufas Towers. Caused by mineral springs. (51K)

That night we camped at Goodacre BLM Campground located in the foothills (50K)
of the mountains that contain Mt. Whitney, 14,497 feet, highest in the continental US (51K)
The storm was gaining on us! (51K)
The next day we drove through intermittent rain to Parker, Arizona and had dinner. The following day home to Phoenix (51K)
